Vampro Voice Generator Text-to-Speech

Vampro Voice Generator is built with full transparency regarding licensing and open-source foundations. The application features a dual-engine architecture: a 100% offline local engine running on your computer, alongside native API integration with ElevenLabs. All shipped local software components and models use permissive licenses (Apache-2.0, MIT, BSD) that permit commercial use. No copyleft GPL or LGPL components are bundled.

Component Licenses

All components bundled in Vampro Voice Generator are licensed under permissive open-source licenses allowing commercial use. The ElevenLabs cloud integration communicates directly over standard HTTPS endpoints using your own credentials without proprietary wrappers or copyleft dependencies.

Voice Models & Engines

The app supports two complementary generation engines depending on your workflow requirements:

Local Kokoro Engine (Offline)

Model: Kokoro-82M (v1.0)

License: Apache-2.0 (commercial use permitted)

Network: 100% offline; zero API keys or latency

Bundled locally with 27 natural English voices across US and UK accents, optimized for fast CPU inference.

ElevenLabs Engine (Cloud API)

Models: Eleven Multilingual v2, Turbo v2.5, Flash v2.5

License: User's ElevenLabs account subscription

Network: Direct HTTPS calls to api.elevenlabs.io

Enables custom cloned voices, hyper-realistic voice acting, fine-grained stability and style sliders.

Updates

The app periodically checks for new application updates and voice models. When updates are available, a non-blocking notification is shown with a link to download the latest version. The app continues to function normally during this process and never blocks voice generation.

The app stays fully functional offline; update checks are silent and non-blocking
You may disable all network activity by setting VAMPRO_FORCE_OFFLINE=1
The panel extension may also be updated independently via the Adobe Marketplace
